1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using InvoiceGuard ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. Account Terms
- You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- You may not use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any regulations.
- One account per person or business. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limits is prohibited.
3. Free Tier and Paid Subscriptions
- Free accounts receive 4 invoice uploads per calendar month.
- Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $79/month via Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. Cancel anytime from your account settings.
- No refunds are provided for partial months, but your Pro access continues until the end of your paid period.
4. Your Data
- You own all data you upload. We do not claim any rights to your invoice data.
- PDF files are deleted from our servers immediately after text extraction.
- Extracted data (item names, prices) is retained per your plan: 90 days (free) or indefinitely (Pro).
- You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload files that are not genuine invoice PDFs
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service
- Upload content that infringes on third-party rights
- Use automated scripts to upload invoices in bulk beyond your plan limits
6. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service is provided "as is." We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
7. Accuracy
InvoiceGuard compares prices based on text extracted from PDFs. We cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of parsing, especially for unusual invoice formats. Always verify flagged overcharges against your original invoices before taking action with a vendor.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvoiceGuard is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any business decisions made based on our reports.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify InvoiceGuard against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. We'll notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
